Bcoming Spirit Conscious in a Physical World  ( 육적 세계에서  영을 의식하게 되기)

In a time when people are searching for answers, children of God can rest assured of getting the right answers. While others turn to false religions, psychics, or friends for guidance, the Spirit of God will lead us. But in order to be led by the Spirit, we must learn to be more spirit conscious.

시간에서 사람들이 해답을 찾을 때, 하나님의 자녀들은 정답을 얻는 것에 안심할 수있습니다. 다른 사람들이 거짓 종교들과 점성술 혹은 친구들에게서  안내를 찾고 있을때 하나님의 영은 우리를 인도하실 것입니다. 그러나 성령의 인도를 받기 위해서 우리는 반드시 성령을 더욱 의식하는것을 배워야합니다.

 

 To understand this more fully, let’s examine these scriptures:

 이것을 충분히 이해하기 위해, 다음의 구절들을 살펴봅시다:

 

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. ?Romans 8:14

롬 8:14  무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라

 

The Spirit [Himself] beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. ?Romans 8:16

롬 8:16  성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증언하시나니

 

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. ?Proverbs 20:27

잠 20:27 사람의 영혼은 여호와의 등불이라 사람의 깊은 속을 살피느니라

 

According to these scriptures, we Christians can expect God to enlighten us?to guide us?by our spirit. Many times, though, we seek guidance by some means other than the way God said we should. When we do, we get into trouble.

 

이 말씀에 의하면, 우리 크리스챤은 기대합니다.하나님께서 우리를 깨닫게하시고-인도하실것이라고- 성령에 의해서  .

많은 경우에 ,  하나님이 우리에게 하라고 하시는 것외에 다른 의미의 방법들에 의해 우리를 인도할 것을 찾고 있습니다. 우리가 그렇게 할 때, 우리는 문제 안으로 들어가게 됩니다.

 

For instance, sometimes we judge God’s leading by being conscious of what our physical senses tell us. But God doesn’t say that He will guide us through our physical senses. The Bible does not say that the body of man is the candle of the Lord.

 

예로 ,  종종 우리는 육의 감각으로 우리에게 말하는것을 의식하는것에 의해 하나님께서  인도하시는 것으로 판단합니다.

그러나 하나님은  우리 육의 감각을 통해 우리를 인도하신다고 말씀하지 않으십니다. 성경은 우리의 육이 여호와의 등불이라 말하고 있지 않습니다.

 

We judge things going on around us from a mental standpoint too. We endeavor to use only our human reasoning as guidance. But God does not say He will guide us through our mentality. The Bible does not say that human reasoning is the candle of the Lord.

 

우리는 정신적인 면에서 우리 주위에서 계속되는 것을 통해서 또한 판단합니다.우리를 인도하는 방법으로  인간적 추론만을 사용하려고 애쓰고 있습니다.그러나 하나님께서는 우리의 정신 세계를 통해서 우리를 인도한다고 말씀하시지 않습니다.성경도 사람의 추론이 여호와의 등불이라 말하고 있지 않습니다.

 

No, the Word says that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. God will guide us and enlighten us through our spirit.

 

그렇지 않습니다, 성경은 사람의 영혼이 하나님의 등불이라고 하고있습니다. 하나님은 우리의 영을 통해 우리를 인도하시고 깨닫게 하십니다

 

Living Betwixt Two

두 사이에 끼어사는 것

 

We can better understand how God leads us and guides us through our spirit, after we first understand the fullness of man, particularly the dimension called the spirit man. According to First Thessalonians 5:23, man is a spirit; he has a soul; and he lives in a physical body.

 

특별히 영적인 사람이라 불리는 측면에서의 사람의 충만함을 먼저 이해하고 난뒤에 어떻게 하나님께서 우리를 인도하시고 안내하시는지에대해 더 잘 이해할 수 있습니다. 데살로니가전서 5:23에서 사람은 영이고 : 혼을 가졌고 그리고 육의 몸에서 산다고 말합니다.

 

Jesus said in John 4:24 that God is a Spirit, and Genesis 1:26?27 says that man is made in the likeness of God. So man must of necessity be a spirit. It’s important to know the spirit part of man is eternal. Even when the physical body of man is dead and in the grave, the spirit lives on. We can see that through Paul’s writing to the Philippians.

 

예수님께서 요한복음 4:24에서 '하나님은 영이시다'라고 말씀하셨고 그리고 창세기 1:26-27에서  '사람은 하나님의 형상을 닮아 만들어졌다'  라고 말씀하십니다. 그러므로 사람은 영적이어야합니다. 영의 영역은 영원하다는 것을 아는것이 중요합니다. 심지어 육의 몸이 무덤에 들어가 죽었을때도 영은 살아 있습니다.우리는 바울이 빌립보 사람들에게 쓴 글을 통해서도 볼 수 있습니다.

 

PHILIPPIANS 1:23?24

23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

 
빌 1:23 내가 그 두 사이에 끼였으니 떠나 그리스도와 함께 있을 욕망을 가진 이것이 더욱 좋으나

       24 그러나 내가 육신에 거하는 것이 너희를 위하여 더 유익하리라

 

According to this passage, Paul is going to live whether he is in the body or out of the body. If he abides, or lives in the flesh, he can teach the church at Philippi and be a blessing to them. That would be needful for them, Paul says, but it would be far better for him to depart and be with Christ. So, we can see here that Paul was actually saying, “I am going to live somewhere, either here in the body, or I am going to depart and be with Christ.”

 

이 구절을 통해서 바울은 육신에 거하거나  밖에 거한다고 했습니다.   만약 그가 육신에 거한다면 빌립보 교회에서 그는 가르치고 그들을 축복할 수 있습니다. 그것이 그들에게 더 유익이라했습니다. 바울이 말하기를 , 그러나 육신을 떠나 그리스도와 함께 있는 것이 훨씬 좋은 것이라 했습니다. 여기서 우리는 바울이 사실상  무엇을 말하는지 볼 수 있습니다. " 나는 어디선가 살 것입니다. 육신 안에 살거나 떠나 그리스도와 함게 있을 것입니다."

 

But who or what is going to depart?

그러나 누가 혹은 무엇이 떠나는것입니까?

 

Paul said, “I am going to depart.” He wasn’t talking about his body. His body was not going to depart. Paul was talking about the inward man?the spirit man?who lives inside the body.

 

바울이 말하기를 " 내가 떠날 것이다" 그는 그의 육신이 떠날 것이라고하고 있지 않습니다. 그의 육신은 떠나지 않습니다. 바울은 속사람에 대해 말하고 있습니다.-영적 사람 -육신 안에 살고 있는

 

Now some cults teach that when a man dies, he no longer exists. Others say that when a man dies, he is in “soul sleep.”  Still others teach reincarnation, saying that the spirit does depart?but it comes back as a cow, a dog, or as someone else. The Bible does not teach any of this.

Stay with the Word of God and it will solve your questions along this line. Through his writings to the Philippians, Paul told us where we Christians go when we die, saying, “I am going to depart. I am going to be with the Lord, which is far better.” (I like that. He didn’t just say it’s going to be better there, he said it would be far better!)

 

지금 어떤 이단 종교들은 사람이 죽었을때 , 그 사람은 더 이상 존재하지 않는다고 가르칩니다. 다른 이들은 사람이 죽으면, 그 사람은 " 혼의 잠듬"으로 들어간다고 합니다. 여전히 어떤 사람들은 윤회를(혼이 떠남) 가르치며 말하기를 그리고 난뒤 소, 개,혹은 다른 사람으로 다시 태어난다고 합니다.성경은 이것 중 어떤것에 대해서도 가르치지 않습니다.

하나님의 말씀을 붙드십시오. 그리고 이 문제에 관한 해답을 얻을 수 있습니다.  빌립보 사람들에게 쓴 편지를 통해 바울은  그리스도인들이 어디서 죽고 언제 죽는지에 대해 우리에게 말하고 있습니다. " 나는 떠날 것입니다. 훨씬 더 좋을  그리스도와 함께 있을 것입니다. " (나는 그가 단지 거기가 더 좋을 것입니다 이렇게 말하지 않고 훨씬 더 좋을 것입니다라고 말한것을 좋아합니다.)

 

The Real You

진짜 당신

 

Paul preached the same truth and taught the same precept to all the churches. Let’s look at Second Corinthians chapter 4 to see what he taught the Church at Corinth:

바울이 설교한 같은 진리와 그리고  교훈을 모든 교회들에게  가르쳤습니다.고린도후서 4장을 보면서 그가 고린도 교회에 어떻게 가르쳤는지 살펴봅시다.

 

2 CORINTHIANS 4:16

16   . . . but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

고린도후서 4:16

 16 그러므로 우리가 낙심하지 아니하노니 겉사람은 후패하나 우리의 속은 날로 새롭도다

 

Here we see that man is more than a body. There is an inward man [spirit], and there is an outward man [body]. The outward man is not the real you. The outward man is only the house in which you live. The inward man is the real you. The inward man never grows older. He is renewed day by day. The inward man is a spirit man.

 

여기서 사람은 육신보다 나은 존재임을 볼 수있습니다. 속사람(영)이 있습니다 . 그리고 겉사람(육신)이 있습니다. 겉사람은 진짜 당신이 아닙니다. 겉사람은 단지 당신이 사는 집입니다. 속사람이 진짜 당신입니다.

속사람은 절대 늙지 않습니다. 속사람은 매일 매일 새롭게 됩니다. 속사람은 사람의 영입니다.

 

So then, how important is it to be conscious of the spirit man? Well, keep in mind our introductory texts. Romans 8:14 says, “. . . as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Then verse 16 gives us a little insight into the leading of the Spirit of God: “The Spirit [Himself] beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.” In other words, the Spirit of God bears witness with the spirit of man. And Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. . . .”

 

그러므로 영의 사람을 의식하는 것이 얼마나 중요합니까?  서론을 기억하십시오. 로마서 8:14에서 " 하나님의 영으로 인도받는 사람들 그들이 하나님의 아들입니다. " 그리고나서 16절에서 하나님의 영으로 인도 받는 것에대한 통찰력을 우리에게 줍니다. 하나님의 영은 사람의 영을 증거합니다. 그리고 잠언 20:17 에서 " 사람의 영혼이 여호와의 등불입니다."라고 말하고 있습니다.

 

According to these scriptures God will guide us through our spirit; therefore, it’s extremely important that we become more conscious of this dimension of man.

 

이 말씀들을 통하여 하나님은 우리의 영을 통해 인도하십니다: 그러므로 우리가 더 많이 이 차원을 의식하는 것은 아주 대단히 중요합니다.

 

The Reborn Spirit

거듭난 영

 

Jesus said to Nicodemus, “. . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Nicodemus, being natural, could only think naturally. So he said, “. . . How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” (v. 4).

 

예수님께서 니고데모에게 말씀하시기를 " ...  네게 이르노니 사람이 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님 나라를 볼수 없느니라"(요3:3)

니고데모 육의 사람은 육적으로 생각 할 수 밖에 없습니다. 그래서 그는 "... 사람이 늙으면 어떻게 날 수 있삽나이까 두번째 모태에 들어갔다가 날 수 있삽나이까 ?" (4절) 라고 말했습니다.

 

But Jesus was not talking about a physical birth. He clarified His words for Nicodemus saying, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (v. 6). Jesus was talking about a spiritual birth.

 

그러나 예수님은 단지 육신의 탄생에 대해 말하고 있지 않습니다. 예수님의 니고데모에게 하신 그의 말씀을 통해 "  육으로 난 것은 육이요 성령으로 난 것은 영이니 "( 6절) 분명히 말씀하고 있습니다. 예수님께서는 영의 거듭남에대해 말씀하고 있습니다.

 

The part of man that is born again is his spirit. Man’s spirit receives eternal life?the life of God and the nature of God. It is man’s spirit that is made a new creature in Christ.

 

사람이 거듭나는 부분은 그 사람의 영입니다. 사람의 영이 영생을 얻습니다. - 하나님의 생명과 하나님의 본성

이것이 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물로 만들어지는 사람의 영입니다.

 

Speaking of the Heart

마음을 말하는것

 

Paul calls man’s spirit “the inward man,” and Peter calls man’s spirit “the hidden man of the heart.”

 

바울은 사람의 영을 " 속사람"이라고 부릅니다. 그리고 베드로도 사람의 영을 "마음에 숨은 사람"이라  부릅니다.

 

1 PETER 3:4

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

 

베드로전서 3:4

 

4오직 마음에 숨은 사람을 온유하고 안정한 심령의 썩지 아니할 것으로 하라 이는 하나님 앞에 값진 것이니라

 

In many instances when the Bible speaks of the heart, it is speaking of the spirit. This is the real man. In the New Testament, wherever the word “heart” is used, substitute the word “spirit” and you will have a clearer understanding of what the Bible is talking about. It will help you in your faith to think this way.

 

많은 경우 성경에서 마음을 이야기할 때 , 이것은 영을 말하는것입니다. 이것이 진짜 사람입니다. 신약에서 "마음"이라는 단어는 "영"이라는 단어를 대신해서 사용됩니다. 그리고 성경에서 무엇을 말하는지 더 분명한 이해를 가지게 될 것입니다. 

어렇게 생각하게하는 것이  믿음 안에 있도록  도움이 될 것입니다.

 

 

       2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

고린도후서 5:17

17 그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새것이 되었도다 

 

This passage is talking about the inward man too. It couldn’t be talking about the outward man because when you are born again and you become a new creature, you do not receive a new body. The outward man is just like it was before. For example, if you were bald before you were born again, you are still bald afterwards. If you had brown eyes before, you still have brown eyes. The outward man does not change. You do, however, have to do something with the outward man. First, you discover from the Bible what God wants you to do with the outward man?and then you do it.

 

이 구절에서 속사람에 대해 또한 말하고 있습니다. 이것은 겉사람에대해 말하는 것일 수 없습니다 왜냐하면 당신이 거듭났을때 당신은 새로운 피조물이 됩니다 그러나 새 몸을 받는 것은 아닙니다. 겉사람은 그전과 여전히 같습니다.

 

예로, 당신이 거듭나기 전에 대머리였으면 거듭난 후에도 당신은 여전히 대머리입니다. 당신이 갈색 눈동자였으면 거듭난뒤도 갈색 눈동자입니다. 겉사람은 변하지 않습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 당신은 겉사람에게 무언가해야만합니다. 첫째,  하나님께서 당신의 겉사람이 무엇을하길 원하는지를 성경을 통해 발견할 수 있습니다. - 그리고 그것을 당신은 해야합니다.

 

But God does something with the inward man. He makes the man on the inside a new man in Christ, a new creature ? a new creation.

그러나 하나님은 속사람과 무엇을 하십니다. 그리스도 안에서 사람안에서 새사람을 만드십니다. - 새 피조물

 

The Proper Order

바른 순서

 

Paul writes in First Thessalonians 5:23, “. . . I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless. . . .”  Notice that Paul began with the inside, the innermost part of man?the heart of his being, which is his spirit?and moved to the outside. Yet most people misquote this verse, saying, “ . . . body, soul, and spirit . . .” That’s because they are more body conscious than spirit conscious. Natural things are more real to them than spiritual things, so they put physical things first. But if we are going to be led by the Spirit of God, we must become more spirit conscious, or we will miss His leading.

 

바울이 데살로니가전서 5:23에 썼습니다. "  평강의 하나님이 친히 너희로 온전히 거룩하게 하시고 또 너희 온 영과 혼과 몸이 우리 주 예수 그리스도 강림하실 때에 흠없게 보전되기를 원하노라 " 바울은 속 , 가장 깊은 부분의 사람으로 시작한다는 것에 주목하십시오.마음 곧 사람의 영에서 밖으로 옮겨가고 있습니다.아직도  많은 사람들이 이 구절을 잘못 인용합니다."...육신, 혼, 영..." 그것은 그들이 영을 의식하기보다 육신을 더 의식하는 사람들이기 때문입니다. 그들에게 영적인 것보다 자연적인것이 더 실질적입니다.  그래서 그들은 육적인것을 먼저 놓게됩니다. 그러나 하나님의 영에 의해 인도 받는다면 우리는 더 많이 영을 의식하게 됩니다 그렇지 않다면 하나님의 인도를 놓치게됩니다.

 

Many years ago, I received a revelation of this and I set out to become more spirit conscious. At first, I would say this out loud to myself: I am a spirit being. I have a soul. And I live in a body. Saying that helped my faith, because faith is of the spirit, or the heart. Looking at it like that helped me to grow spiritually.

 

오래 해 전에, 이것에 대한 계시를 받았습니다. 그리고  더 영을 의식하기 위해 준비했습니다. 처음으로 나는 나자신에게 크게 말했습니다. :"나는 영적 존재이다. 나는 혼을 가졌다 그리고 육신에 산다. " 이렇게 말하는 것이 나의 믿음을 돕습니다. 왜냐하면 믿음은 영의 믿음 혹은 마음의 믿음입니다. 이렇게 바라보는 것이 나를 영적으로 자라도록 도왔습니다.

 

I’m sorry to say this, but most people are more body conscious than spirit conscious. And some are more mental conscious, because they live more in the mental realm. But I encourage you to put your spirit first. Yes, you possess a mind and you live in a body. But realize that you are a spirit being and that you became a new creation created by God in Christ Jesus. Then as you become more spirit conscious (more conscious of the inward man), you will find it much easier to be led by the Spirit of God. 

 

이렇게 말하는게 미안하지만, 그러나 대부분의 사람들은 영을 의식하기보다 육을 의식하는 사람들입니다. 그리고 몇몇은 정신을 더 의식하는 왜냐하면 그들이  정신적 영역에 살기때문입니다. 그러나 나는 여러분이 영을 처음으로 두시기를 격려합니다.

 

네, 여러분은 마음을 소유하고 있고 몸에 살고 있습니다. 그러나 이것을 깨달으십시오. 여러분은 영적 존재입니다. 그리고 예수 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물이 되었습니다. 그래서 여러분이 더 많이 영을 의식한다면 ( 속사람을 더 의식한다면) 여러분은 훨씬 쉽게 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 것을 찾게될 것입니다.
